A data visualization poster created for a movie loving friend. I was tasked with finding a way to fit a 180 movie quotes in one poster in a way that would be visually appealing from a far yet still informative and inviting to read up close.
After looking for data viz inspiration, I came up with the idea of a circle - 360 degrees for 180 quotes.

The main challenge was planning and fitting all the necessary parts into a circle:
Years - each inner line represents a year from 2001 to 2023.
Genre - outer grey circle lines.
Characters & movie name - create 180 ‘rays’ around the circle.
Dots - after all other data categories are in place, the colored dots represent the quote by a specific character within the movie.



Quote Index - all quotes are organized by genre & color within it at the bottom half of the poster.
The end result is a data circle that functions both as a visual anchor and as a visual index for the quotes.
